From Thoughts to Blog: "My First Step as a Writer"

Hi everyone!

My name is Aatir Abdullah, and I’m happy to welcome you to my blog. This is my first ever blog post, and I’m excited to start this new journey as a writer and content creator.

I’ve always enjoyed writing — whether it’s short thoughts, motivational ideas, or just things I experience in daily life. Writing helps me clear my mind and connect with others. That’s exactly why I decided to start this blog.

📖 Why I Started Blogging

There are a few simple but strong reasons why I created this blog:

 To Share My Voice

As someone who loves writing, I’ve always wanted a space where I can speak freely, share my thoughts, and let others see the world through my eyes.

To Connect With People

Sometimes, a small idea or story can make someone’s day better. I hope my blog helps people feel motivated, comforted, or inspired — even if just a little.

To Grow as a Writer

Every writer needs a place to practice and improve. For me, this blog is that place. I want to learn, grow, and keep getting better at expressing my ideas.

🌍 What You’ll Find on This Blog

This blog will be simple, real, and useful. Here’s the kind of content I plan to write:

.Motivational posts

.Life lessons and personal experiences

.Student life tips and productivity hacks

.Creative writings like short stories or thoughts

And sometimes just random things from my mind!

✨ A Quote That Inspires Me

> “The beginning is always today.” – Mary

Shelley

This quote reminds me that no matter how late we start something, the right time is now. This blog is my new beginning — and maybe it’ll inspire you to begin something too.

💬 Final words from me

Thank you for being here. If you’ve taken the time to read my first post, I truly appreciate it. I may be just starting, but I believe every big journey begins with one small step — and this is mine.

I hope you’ll join me as I share, learn, and grow through words.

Feel free to leave a comment or suggest what you’d like me to write about next. Let’s make this space something meaningful together.

I Didn’t Choose Writing—Writing Chose Me

It started with a heavy heart and an empty page. ” I don’t remember the exact day I started writing. But I remember how I felt. I was sad, tired, and full of thoughts I couldn’t say out loud.  It felt like I had so much in my heart, but no one to listen. So one day, I picked up a pen and started writing. I didn’t want to become a writer. I just wanted to feel better. I just wanted to let things out. Back then, I was very quiet. I kept everything inside — my pain, my thoughts, and my feelings. I acted happy in front of people, but inside I was hurting. I felt like no one really saw me. No one asked me if I was okay. And then, one night, I broke down. I felt like I was carrying too much. There was no big reason — just small things that added up. I didn’t know how to talk to anyone, so I wrote everything down. I wrote my feelings on paper. It was messy, but it made me feel lighter. That was the first time I felt peace in a long time. > "I don’t write because I’m strong. I wr...

Overthinking: The Battle No One Sees

“Before You Judge an Overthinker, Read This” There’s this quiet battle that many of us fight , the one inside our own minds. It doesn’t make noise. It doesn’t always show on our faces. But it exhausts us deeply. It’s called overthinking .And sometimes, it feels like drowning in your own thoughts. 🌊 It Starts Small Overthinking doesn’t come all at once. It starts with a small question, a doubt, or a “what if.” You replay a conversation. You worry about something that hasn’t even happened. You imagine every possible outcome. You keep going, even when there’s nothing left to think about. At first, it feels like you’re just being careful. But soon, it becomes a storm in your mind. And you forget how to breathe. > “ You’re not stuck in traffic. You are traffic.” Eckhart Tolle That’s what overthinking feels like. Your own thoughts trapping you. According to a study by the University of Michigan, 73% of people aged 25–35 say they overthink regularly. And most of them say it keeps...
